Casa Vittoria

The villa sits on a private peninsula with direct access to the clear azure waters of the bay. A vine-covered walkway with cobbled steps leads your eye to the enticing water, and the wooden deck at the bottom provides a large sunbathing area with steps into the sea. The crystal-clear waters in the bay are perfect for a dip any time of the day, or you might prefer to take a trip on the paddle boards or venture further afield in the kayaks.

All of the bedrooms are light and airy, each one affording an individual style – double beds are all kingsize. The spacious master bedroom has a colonial feel, and the luxurious bathroom is the pièce de résistance with a walk-in shower and a contemporary roll-top bath, from which you can soak up the staggering views.

The spectacular reception room is incredibly light with panoramic views and access to the terrace through French windows.

The fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place to rustle up an al fresco lunch, or a more sumptuous supper.

The extraordinary vine on the terrace provides an area of shade, whether you are enjoying a long lazy lunch or relaxing in the adjacent seating area. If you are there at the right time, you can enjoy the delicious black grapes from the vine, lemons from the trees beside the pool, or mouth-watering figs from the trees on the terrace below.

If you fancy reading your book whilst soaking up the fabulous views across the bay, why not escape to the shady cabana with its comfortable seating area. It is also the perfect place to enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or take in the sunset with a glass of local chilled rosé.

If you relish some peace and quiet, the olive tree area on the lower terrace provides the ideal sanctuary. Relax on one of the steamer chairs or stretch out on the sunbathing platform behind the horseshoe shaped seating area. This haunt is one of our favourite places to while away the day. There is a fridge where you can keep all your drinks chilled, so you don’t have to venture very far.

Cool down in the freshwater swimming pool surrounded by hardwood decking and take in the mesmerising view. If you are lucky, you might even spot a pod of dolphins playing in the sparkling blue waters of the channel.
